I woke up determination to finish this Christmas video...a little over a month late but hey I got it done! While I worked on it Joel helped out around the house with the kids. I ended up having to upload the darn video countless times. The first time it said it was a duplicate so it rejected the upload 2 hours later after it finished uploading. Talk about frustrating! If you remember I had already had it uploaded and public for about 2 days a week ago but I found lots of new footage and once I was done with the editing process I had 9-10 more minutes to include into the video. I put the original on private which was only around 11 minutes in length & the new one is 22+ minutes so it wasn't the same, not even titled the same but the duplicate message was what the error received. The second time I uploaded it I clicked the wrong file to upload & uploaded the original file. :/ I could have very easily kicked my self in the butt because again I didn't realize this till it was done & saw the time length so yet again another 2 hours wasted. Third time was the charm thankfully! It however took 6.5 hours to upload the 1080 HD, 22+ minute video. However it's done & it's up!!!! Finally, I can stop messing with it.
I was running a little behind with getting ready. It was the first day of Jacelyn's class at The Little Gym. We were so blessed with her birthday party and tons of great family & friends & even a gift certificate all the way from Germany (Thank you Tanja!) that her entire semester was covered aside from $15. Plus she even received iTune gift cards too!

| The white bag holder we bought from Ikea & I want to get another one & put them side by side on the door and use the other one for our body bibs that you see on the floor currently in this picture on the lazy susan that we need to sell. ha |
We ended up leaving the house before Joel ever did which is rare. We were a little early to The Little Gym which was fine. The kids got in a short 20-30 minute nap & I was able to nurse Peyson in the truck who is quite the gymnast now so it's more like nursenastics with her. When I have the chance to just sit and nurse in the truck we do because she is all over the place and doesn't care who she's exposing me to.

Jacelyn loved her class. She's a little behind her peers in the class but this is her first class. Most of the kids have been taking since they were Peyson's age. She really lacks upper body strength and I'm not sure if she'll ever gain it as I still lack this myself. My lower half makes up for my upper half though, ha. We'll practice at home when we can. I was just thrilled I didn't have to coax her in the room without me or anything. She ran straight in there & never thought about me for a split second. I was shocked & relieved! My big girl is growing up. Just hope every week is like this week and it wasn't a fluke.

After class Peyson nursed for an hour in the truck. Thankfully we didn't have anywhere to go & the kids took another little nap till we got home. Our schedule is a bit off as this is the only time for her class and we normally eat dinner at 5. Not sure what we'll do come this day every week but we'll have to figure out a new plan.

| She's still at 15 lbs. All three of mine just stopped gaining weight for the most part once they were mobile. Peyson is no exception. Kacen stayed 18 lbs for almost 6 months. |
I spent my evening talk about some personal family related issues. Eventually I will 'tell all' but currently I can not as it's still on going. I do want to touch basis on it so when I look back I can remember what I was feeling. Anxious just about sums it up. Our life could be changed and turned upside down as some would say however I see it as a great situation though and when I hear "upside down" I think of it being a bad situation. I'm on pins & needles waiting to see what comes of it. Soon as Joel got home we talked about the family issue a bit more in depth and went to bed.
Question of the day:
How long did it take you previous Windows computer owner to learn a Mac?
Sorry if this comes through twice, my internet messed up right as I hit submit the first time
ReplyDeleteIt took me a couple weeks to get used to our Mac when we switched. The thing that tripped me up the most was always wanting to go to the right upper corner to close windows and on the mac it's the upper left...drove me crazy each time I'd scroll to the right haha. But I will never buy another windows computer again!!! Apple products all the way, so much better and once you get used to it, much easier to use too
Well...if you're ever available you can show me how to work the darn thing, ha. We need some pretty weather & we could do a park date.
DeleteSounds good, just let me know :)
DeleteI wonder if the secret includes a move hmmmmmm!!!!Guess Ill have to wait and see ...My little grandson Alex has finally evened out at 20lbs hes started sitting in a bouncer and getting a little exercise!!!Giantsfan/Lorie Foote
ReplyDeleteIt took us a couple weeks to get use to our Mac! But we love love love our apple wouldn't ever switch back to a windows, Mac is really simple and user friendly! Ours is in the shop with a corrupt hard drive! Thank god for warranty protection! But other than that (I think its my fault for the mess up) its awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt took me about a week to get use to the Mac. My husband caught on really fast, then he showed me how things worked. I do find that when I go to a PC now, I have no idea how it works! LOL! I've totally forgot how to use their programs!
ReplyDeletePS - You'll LOVE i-movie and i-dvd! Now you can make DVD's of all your precious videos, title screens, chapters and all, and it's really easy!
Just speculating on your family issues; does it have to do with your home loan or car? Those were the first things I thought of when you referred to "Upside down"????
ReplyDeleteI hope it works out, Lucy. I think it would be great for all involved.
ReplyDeleteAre you still blogging? I haven't seen a post in ages! I hope all is well! Take care.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well, for some reason I have had you and your family on my heart. Praying that everything worked itself out. Stay positive!
ReplyDeleteYou have been MIA it seems...hope it doesn't have to do with you family issue. Hope all is well.
